My book tour for Gardens of Texas continues throughout November in Brenham, Austin, Bastrop, Dallas, Wichita Falls, and Grapevine. Come join me and discover ideas for making beautiful, resilient gardens, with plenty of gorgeous inspiration from the book — which I can’t wait to share with you!
November Events
- Nov. 1 – The Antique Rose Emporium’s Fall Festival of Roses in Brenham, 2-3 pm. Talk & book signing. Free.
- Nov. 6 – Garden Spark Talk in Austin, 7:30 to 9 pm. Talk & book signing. Tickets must be purchased in advance: $25. Each ticket holder receives a $20 discount on one copy of Gardens of Texas at this event!
- Nov. 8 – Travis County Open Day Garden Tour in Austin. From 10 am to 1 pm, I’ll be selling and signing books at the Belmont Parkway Garden, one of 5 gardens on the all-day Garden Conservancy tour. Get your ticket for the Belmont Pkwy Garden here. Ticket links for all the gardens on the tour, and details about each one, can be found here.
- Nov. 9 – Community Gardens Fall Home & Garden Show in Bastrop, 1-2 pm. Talk & book signing in the greenhouse. Free.
- Nov. 15 – Redenta’s Garden Shop in Dallas, 1-2 pm. This meet-and-greet event will include a short presentation (no slide show), followed by a book signing. Free.
- Nov. 16 – North Haven Gardens in Dallas, 2-4 pm. Talk & book signing in the indoor classroom. Free.
- Nov. 17 – Wichita River Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas in Wichita Falls, 5:30-7:30 pm. Reception with hors d’oeuvres and wine at 5:30 pm, followed by a talk & book signing. Tickets must be purchased in advance: $25.
- Nov. 18 – Grapevine Garden Club in Grapevine, 10:00-11:30 am. Talk & book signing. Free and open to the public.
- Nov. 22 – Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, 1-3 pm. Talk & book signing in the auditorium. Free with admission to the garden.

Come out and say hello, get some inspiration for your garden, and pick up a book for yourself or for holiday gifts! I look forward to meeting you.

Nov. 8: Tour 5 Austin gardens on the Open Day Tour for Travis County, sponsored by the Garden Conservancy. I’ll be at the Belmont Parkway Garden with a book-signing table for Gardens of Texas, so come say hi!
